FIX: force re-name AD

Have you written the name as it should be in AD ‘Display name’, but is it still popping up with the wrong Display name in Outlook for users?

You can force the name change in the Active Directory. As you can see in the images below. I want my display name to be last name, first name instead of first and last name. I don’t really care for the display name, but it’s annoying for users searching colleagues in outlook.
wrong display name AD

lets fix the display name | force rename AD

Search for the username in AD, and right click on the users name.

force re-name ADFollow the screenshots.
rename user
The name should now be changed in AD and in outlook.
